We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at RAAF Base Wagga, Forest Hill. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service and driving operational excellence.

THE POSITION

Lead, coach and develop front and back-of-house hospitality teams and chefs
Oversee daily dining and food service operations
Drive service excellence and customer satisfaction outcomes
Manage rostering, workforce planning and team performance
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and contractual service delivery requirements
Coordinate functions, events and hospitality requirements
Manage operational budgets, stock control and service standards
Build a positive team culture focused on accountability and engagement
Develop strong relationships with Defence stakeholders and customers

THE PERSON

Proven experience in hospitality management or food and beverage leadership
Strong computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office programs
Strong people management, coaching and development skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP and allergen management
Experience with rostering, workforce planning and operational management
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
