Murdoch Gardens Care Community is located in a peaceful neighbourhood adjacent to Murdoch University with a retirement village next door. Our 141-bed Care Community is just 20 minutes south of the Perth CBD and is a spacious and elegant home with flourishing gardens. We have a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and encourage residents to stay connected with the local community.

About the role

  • $36.23 base rate + Penalty rates, Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays, plus 12% superannuation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide personal care that supports residents’ daily living, dignity and wellbeing
  • Build positive, meaningful relationships with residents and their families
  • Support residents with meals, mobility, hygiene and social engagement
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver safe, high-quality care
  • Contribute to a warm, respectful and supportive care community
  • Follow workplace health, safety, clinical and compliance requirements

About you

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability
  • Nursing student
  • A caring approach, strong communication skills and commitment to resident wellbeing
  • Reliability and availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays where required
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment checks, including a police check, NDIS Worker’s Clearance and pre-employment medical
