The Culinary Admin Assistant is a core role in our team at Melbourne Park - supporting the day-to-day and event operations of the kitchen by assisting with culinary casual pool rostering, administrative tasks and team communication.

The Position
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the culinary team.
- Coordinate and maintain the culinary casual labour pool by ensuring appropriate staffing coverage for events and daily operations through workforce planning, scheduling adjustments, and ongoing liaison with operational stakeholders.
- Managing reports, documentation, and updates across SharePoint and other internal systems.
- Distributing company communications and updates across culinary and support departments.
- Ordering and tracking office supplies and equipment as required.
- Assisting the Lead Culinary Coordinator and leadership team with compliance-related tasks and ad hoc projects.
The Person
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic, team-focused environment. You'll have:
- Proven experience in administration and scheduling (hospitality/events/culinary background is desirable)
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), SharePoint & OneDrive. Deputy experience also desirable.
- Outstanding attention to detail and a structured approach to tasks.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to liaise across multiple teams.
- The ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-moving environments.
- A flexible approach to working hours - including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
