As a member of the housekeeping team at Jemalong Retirement Village, you will be providing high quality cleaning, catering & laundry services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents rooms and common areas are clean and presentable.

About the Role:

• Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in our residents rooms
• Supporting your peers and maintaining a co operative team spirit
• Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Previous experience working as a cleaner or catering assistant
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• A reliable team player
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
