About the role
- We are currently hiring for multiple roles across our Ward Support Department, offering exciting opportunities to join our growing team
- Safely transport patients, equipment, and furniture across hospital wards as directed by the Transport Office or Wardsperson Supervisor
- Assist patients with movement, positioning, and access to meals under the guidance of nursing staff
- Collect and deliver specimens, blood products, and medications as required
- Support infection prevention practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Provide respectful assistance with patient transfers, including the transport of deceased patients, in accordance with hospital procedures
About you
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with basic computer literacy
- Awareness of work health and safety and infection prevention principles
- Initiative, self-reliance, and flexibility in a dynamic clinical environment
- CPR accreditation or willingness to obtain
