About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an Enrolled Nurse to join the Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine team at Tamworth Hospital. Our fast-paced department provides care to both inpatients and outpatients across a broad range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services. This is a great opportunity to develop your nursing skills in a specialised imaging environment.
You will:
Provide pre-, peri- and post-procedure nursing care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
- Monitor patients, assess changing clinical needs and respond appropriately to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, radiologists, radiographers, medical staff and the wider multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced imaging environment.
- Assist with nursing care across a broad range of services, including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine and PET scanning.
About you
We are looking for an adaptable, proactive and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse who enjoys working in a busy team environment and is committed to delivering excellent patient care.
You will demonstrate:
Quick decision-making skills, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
Ability to follow direction while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care in a busy imaging environment.

Sound clinical judgement and the ability to respond appropriately to changing patient needs.
Requirements: - Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA & Relevant qualification as an Enrolled Nurse.
Radiology experience is highly regarded but not essential. On-the-job training, mentorship and upskilling opportunities will be provided to support your transition into the imaging environment.
