What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective midwifery care that reflects current standards of midwifery practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

About You
You hold current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, reflecting your commitment to professional standards and safe practice. You demonstrate strong skills, knowledge and competency in delivering midwifery care within an acute hospital environment, applying sound clinical judgement to maximise patient outcomes. Your approach to care is supported by proven problemsolving abilities and a capacity to respond effectively to complex or rapidly changing clinical situations. You communicate with clarity and professionalism, using information technology alongside welldeveloped written, verbal and interpersonal skills to ensure accurate, timely and compassionate interactions. You plan and coordinate midwifery care confidently within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to evidencebased, outcomefocused practice. You also maintain the flexibility and reliability required to participate in a sevenday rotating roster, including public holidays and night duty, demonstrating your readiness to support service needs at all times.
