You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Australia Maintenance Support division in the Engineering & Planning Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. ***See Additional Information section below for details***Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Providing hands-on technical experience in a marine shipyard, naval intermediate maintenance facility (IMF), or active-duty Navy submarine maintenance environment.
2. Utilizing both electrical and mechanical technical principles (e.g., system testing, component troubleshooting, or machinery alignments).
3. Experience in troubleshooting and repair of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems on submarines.
