About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Guest Services Assistant to join our Operations team at our SPV Village located in Dysart, QLD.

Reporting to site management, this position is responsible for supervising and supporting the Guest Services team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of front office services. Duties include processing bookings, allocating accommodation, performing check-ins and check-outs, preparing reports, handling retail transactions, and completing general administrative tasks.

This is a full-time, permanent position working a rotating 9 days on, 5 days off roster.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support the Guest Services team to ensure efficient daily operations
Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, room allocations and reservations processing
Perform check-ins, check-outs and respond to guest enquiries professionally and efficiently
Assist with roster coordination and on-the-job training of Guest Services team members
Ensure reservation data accuracy and compliance with company procedures
Prepare and distribute reports in line with operational requirements
Process retail transactions and maintain accurate cash handling records
Monitor stock levels within reception and retail areas
Build positive relationships with guests and clients while resolving issues promptly
Maintain a safe, professional and welcoming environment for guests and team members

About You

Previous experience in a senior guest services, reservations or front office role
Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience within hospitality or accommodation services
Experience using accommodation management systems, preferably RMS9 or similar
Strong administration and Microsoft Office skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Strong organisational, problem-solving and multitasking abilities
Previous remote village, mining or resources accommodation experience (desirable)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
Full Australian working rights
