Your New Role

Lead the Marketing Automation function and play a key leadership role within Marketing Services. You'll be responsible for driving efficient, personalised and compliant member communications, while leading a team of specialists and shaping the strategic direction of marketing automation across the Fund. Bringing a broad marketing perspective, you'll work across automation, data, technology and integrated marketing channels to drive alignment, innovation and exceptional member experiences.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of marketing automation specialists, fostering capability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the marketing automation pipeline, prioritisation process and delivery roadmap across email, SMS and digital communications.
  • Provide strategic advice on automation maturity, personalisation opportunities and future platform capability.
  • Partner with Analytics, CRM, Marketing and Technology teams to deliver effective, data-driven member communications.
  • Lead the evolution of the Fund's personalisation strategy and champion best-practice marketing automation approaches.
  • Manage governance, risk, compliance and quality assurance processes to ensure communications are accurate, secure and member-centric.
  • Act as a senior leader within Marketing Services, contributing to strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and cross-functional initiatives.

What You'll Need:

  • 15+ years extensive experience in marketing, with significant expertise in marketing automation within complex organisations.
  • Minimum 10+ years demonstrated experience leading teams, programs and stakeholder groups in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of customer data, segmentation, data architecture and marketing technology platforms.
  • Experience influencing strategic decisions and operating as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of integrated marketing channels, including CRM, SMS, paid media, events and creative services.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • A degree in Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, with experience using enterprise marketing automation platforms highly regarded.
