As a Segment GTM Analyst, you will provide analytical and commercial support to the Segment GTM team by turning customer, revenue, margin and behavioural data into actionable insights. In the immediate term, the role will have a primary focus on strengthening churn forecasting, analytics and performance management across B2B segments. This includes identifying customer and revenue risks, analysing churn drivers, prioritising at-risk cohorts, modelling potential outcomes and measuring the impact of retention initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Segment GTM, the role will work with GTM leads and cross-functional stakeholders to provide clear, commercially focused insights that support informed decision-making and effective execution. The role follows Vocus’s hybrid working pattern and may require occasional travel to customer and industry meetings; no security clearance or shift work is required.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day

  • Build and maintain segment-level forecasts, risk models and scenario analyses to quantify customer, service, revenue and margin impacts, with a particular focus on churn, retention and commercial performance drivers
  • Analyse customer cohorts, behavioural trends and commercial performance across segments, products, lifecycle stages and contract profiles to identify churn risks, growth opportunities and emerging trends
  • Measure the impact of retention initiatives and commercial actions, including save campaigns, pricing actions and renewal programs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for GTM, Sales, Product and Marketing teams to improve retention, growth, profitability and customer outcomes
  • Leverage AI, EDW and advanced analytical techniques to enhance forecasting accuracy, identify emerging churn and growth signals, and improve decision-making
  • Translate model outputs and AI-generated insights into clear commercial recommendations, while partnering with Data, Finance, Product, Commercial, Analytics and Technology teams to assess and operationalise new analytical capabilities
  • Support regular monthly, quarterly and annual business performance reviews through forecasting, reporting and executive-ready insights that highlight key drivers, risks, opportunities, performance movements and recommended actions
  • Support high-impact strategic initiatives across the business, including cost optimisation, productivity improvement, pricing analysis, AI-enabled opportunities and commercial transformation projects
  • Apply strong analytical judgement to interpret complex datasets and AI-generated outputs, quantify business value, and deliver actionable recommendations that improve profitability, customer outcomes and operational efficiency.

What you’ll bring to this role

  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial analysis/business performance
  • Experience in telco, ICT or SIO based industries
  • Proven experience in supporting GTM or sales teams with commercial signs
  • Exposure to churn, pricing, customer lifecycle analytics advantageous
  • Comfortable operating in fast pace, data driven environment.
