Trade Marketing Coordinator - Skechers
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Trade Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing team at Skechers.
Reporting to the Retail Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing the retail marketing calendar to life across our Australian and New Zealand store network. This is a hands-on role working across retail campaigns, store openings, POP and VM, centre marketing, local area marketing and retail communications.
You’ll work closely with our stores, Retail Operations, internal teams, suppliers, agencies and shopping centre partners to make sure campaigns and activations are delivered on time and to brand standards.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Coordinate the execution of national retail campaigns across the Skechers store network
- Manage campaign timelines, assets, approvals and delivery requirements
- Coordinate POP, VM and seasonal retail marketing assets from artwork through to store delivery
- Manage marketing execution for new store openings, relocations and refurbishments
- Coordinate shopping centre marketing, local area marketing initiatives, activations and events
- Support in-store customer experience elements including digital screens, video content, music and seasonal imagery
- Coordinate regular marketing communications and campaign toolkits for the retail store network
- Maintain the retail marketing calendar, project trackers and campaign timelines
- Liaise with stores, suppliers, agencies, shopping centres and internal stakeholders to ensure activity is delivered smoothly
- Assist with campaign reporting, performance analysis, budget tracking, invoicing and purchase orders
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 1–3 years’ experience in retail marketing, VM coordination or a similar marketing role
- Experience within retail, fashion, footwear, FMCG or a consumer brand environment is desirable
- Experience coordinating Local Area Marketing initiatives and retail activations
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders
- An understanding of retail marketing, POP, VM and campaign execution
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with internal and external partners
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in using data to improve campaign effectiveness and the in-store customer experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva
- Experience with platforms such as ClickUp is advantageous
