About the Role
As the Senior HSEW Systems & Risk Specialist, you won't just maintain an existing framework - you'll help reimagine how a global business manages health, safety, environment and wellness. This role leads the governance, development and continuous improvement of TWE's HSEW management system, enterprise risk and critical risk frameworks, assurance programs, performance insights and organisational learning approach. Working across wineries, vineyards, packaging, manufacturing and corporate environments, you'll make complex requirements easier to understand, easier to apply and more useful for the people who rely on them every day.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the evolution of TWE's HSEW management system so it remains practical, scalable, legally robust and fit for the future.
Shape enterprise risk, critical risk and assurance frameworks that strengthen control effectiveness, governance confidence and operational decision-making.
Turn data, audits, incidents and emerging trends into clear performance insights, executive reporting and targeted improvement priorities.
Partner with operational leaders, internal specialists and external experts to simplify systems, lift capability and embed consistent ways of working across diverse environments.
Influence the digital roadmap for HSEW by identifying opportunities to use technology, analytics and emerging tools to make risk management smarter and easier to use.
Strengthen organisational learning by ensuring serious incidents, assurance findings and systemic risks translate into meaningful action, shared learning and sustainable improvement.
About You
You're an experienced HSEW systems and risk leader who knows that great outcomes come from well-designed systems, not more paperwork. You bring strong technical credibility, but you're also curious, pragmatic and willing to challenge how things have always been done. You can balance governance discipline with human-centred design, turning legislation, standards, risk data and operational realities into systems that are clear, useful and trusted by the business.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
A degree qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or a related discipline, with lead auditor qualifications highly regarded.
5+ years' experience in HSEW systems, risk management and compliance roles within complex, multi-site organisations.
Strong knowledge of HSEW management systems, regulatory frameworks and recognised standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, with the ability to translate these into practical applications
Experience administering HSEW platforms, compliance systems and data reporting tools, with strong Power BI and Microsoft 365 capability.
Proven ability to analyse data, influence stakeholders, lead change initiatives and drive continuous improvement through governance, assurance and risk management.
- Experience engaging and working with specialist internal and external partners to deliver technical, assurance, risk or system improvement outcomes.
