W Sydney is now casting for Demi Chefs (Banquets)! We have both a PT and FT role available depending on the candidates availability and working rights in Australia.

The ideal candidate possesses genuine excitement and passion for good food and the desire to grow in the industry. You will work with quality products and assist in the Conference & events (Banquets) of the hotel.

• Proven experiencein a fast paced and quality driven working environment

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist

• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment

• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Available to work weekends, and public holidays as needed for business demands

• Must be passionate about food and keen to showcase their ability in fast-paced environment

• Well-developed ability to work independently and as part of a strong, diverse and dynamic team

• Able to communicate and showcase reliability

• Excellent organisational skills and strong work ethic

• Full working rights in Australia
