Senior Civil Designer
Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Civil Designer for a 36 months+ Contract role on the Sunshine Coast.
The Senior Civil Designer will report to the Principal Advisor (Design) and will work independently on complex civil designs while collaborating with and supporting other civil designers. You will be responsible for ensuring all designs adhere to rigorous policy frameworks, standards, and legislation.
Skills and experience required includes:
- Develop and quantify transport infrastructure design models, ensuring project objectives are met within time, quality, and budget constraints.
- Investigate, analyze, and conceptualize design options, ensuring the most suitable processes are implemented.
- Provide technical advice and support across corridor planning and program development, and assist in reviewing documentation provided by external design consultancies.
- A minimum two-year, Dublin Accord accredited engineering degree such as an associate degree in engineering (civil) or recognized equivalence.
- Minimum of 5 years of use and experience using 12D and AutoCAD software.
Government experience would be highly advantageous.
