Your Role
As a Spa Therapist at qualia, you'll deliver personalised massage, beauty and wellness treatments while providing the intuitive and exceptional service our guests expect. You'll use your expertise to understand individual guest needs, recommend appropriate treatments and products, and create relaxing experiences that reflect qualia's luxury service standards.
Where you'll make an impact
- Deliver exceptional and personalised treatments to qualia guests
- Conduct massage treatments including soft tissue and remedial techniques
- Administer spa treatments promoting relaxation and wellbeing
- Maintain strong knowledge of treatments, services and spa products
- Provide tailored treatment and product recommendations to guests
- Contribute towards weekly and monthly retail targets
- Maintain treatment rooms to exceptional presentation and hygiene standards
- Ensure linen, robes, slippers and treatment supplies are well stocked
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of Spa qualia
- Create memorable guest experiences through attentive and intuitive service
What we're looking for
You are a polished and passionate Spa Therapist who understands the detail, discretion and personalised service expected in a luxury environment. You take pride in your craft, enjoy creating meaningful guest experiences and bring a calm, professional and positive approach to every treatment.
To be successful, you will need:
- Diploma in Beauty Therapy or Massage Therapy (Essential)
- OR Certification in Deep Tissue and/or Remedial Massage (Essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a luxury spa environment
- Excellent treatment personalisation and time management skills
- Impeccable grooming and professional presentation
- Strong understanding of spa culture, health and wellbeing
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively
- Proactive and positive approach to supporting the wider Spa team
- Commitment to the role for a minimum of 12 months
- Current Open Driver Licence
- Training in Sodashi and LaGaia (Desirable)
