NSW Health Pathology is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Administration Officer to join the Tissue Pathology & Diagnostic Oncology Department at Westmead Hospital. The position is part-time, requiring attendance five days per week, with shifts of five hours per day. What you'll be doing
The Tissue Pathology MDT (Mutli-disciplinary Team) and Clinico-Pathology Meetings Coordinator ensures that requests for case presentation at CPC (Clinico-Pathological Conference) and MDT (Mutli-disciplinary Team) meetings are managed in a manner that facilitates the timely review of cases by pathologists prior to presentation at the meeting and discussion of the case with the clinical teams.
The incumbent manages the retrieval (internal and external), tracking and preparation of all material, facilitates billing for CPC and MDT activities, is the primary contact for meeting requests and liaises with other MDT Coordinators, manages meeting facility bookings and maintains records of all CPC and MDT activity.

- Demonstrated experience in a high demand, diagnostic Multi-Disciplinary Team & Clinico-Pathology Meetings Coordinator role including the management of diagnostic Anatomical Pathology material.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, organise and perform a wide range of administrative tasks relative to MDT & clinico-pathology meetings management, workflow and resources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong written and verbal English and be capable of professionally liaising and working with a diverse range of stakeholders (internal and external) using different modes of communication.
- Demonstrated strong customer focus and commitment to providing exceptional service to all clients (internal and external to the organisation).
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of quality in the context of ISO 15189 accreditation and requirements relevant to the role (retention of records and tracking).
- Demonstrated computer competency including Microsoft Office applications with experience in Health Information Management Systems (ie. Laboratory information Systems).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and contribute to a team with strong time management and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible days and times as required for service provision.
