We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the Ambulatory Care Business Unit as part of the administrative team in the Fetal Medicine Unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

The Fetal Medicine Unit is dedicated to providing compassionate, specialised care to women throughout their pregnancy journey, and we are looking for a motivated, skilled administrative professional who values exceptional customer service and enjoys working as part of a supportive, proactive team.

In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the Fetal Medicine Unit. Your responsibilities will include coordinating appointments, communicating with patients and clinical staff, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing reliable administrative support to assist the team in delivering high-quality care.

While this position sits within the Women and Babies ambulatory service, it is managed through the centralised workforce structure of the Ambulatory Care Business Unit, which supports administrative staff across RPAH Hospital.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous customer service experience with the ability to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Has practical experience with or understanding of Medicare billing in a public hospital.
  • Demonstrated experience with computers and computer software packages including, either within NSW Health or external organisations.
