    Work Environment:

  • Experience:

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • 5+ years of Clinical Embryology Experience
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study

As the Account Manager for Victoria & Tasmania, this role will provide high-level sales support to healthcare customers across this territory. The primary responsibilities include reaching annual sales goals, driving business growth, and increasing customer uptake of products and services. Additionally, the role focuses on maintaining positive customer feedback and achieving market share growth through effective interactions at various organisational levels.

The Account Manager for Victoria & Tasmania exists to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, achieve and exceed sales targets, and present solutions to healthcare professionals. They will monitor customer usage and competitor activity, liaise between customers and internal teams, and adapt strategies based on market developments. Planning work schedules with the Sales Manager is also part of the role.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Achieve and if possible, exceed, annual sales targets
  • Win new customers, as well as developing long-term relationships with existing one
  • Make face-face/Virtual presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products.
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional customer experience on a day-to-day basis.
  • Monitor and analyse customer's usage of our products
  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams
  • Keep up to date with new developments in the IVF market, anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt strategy accordingly
  • Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the Clinical and Scientific sectors
  • Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the Sales Manager and discuss future targets.

Tasks associated with development and maintenance of new services in the region e.g. warehouse, customer service.

Travel:

Willingness to travel (up to 40% travel in this role around Australia/New Zealand)
