About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer - Electrical to join our Sydney-based team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities across a range of electrical packages, ensuring materials and equipment are sourced, delivered, and managed in line with project schedules, technical requirements, and commercial objectives. Working closely with engineering, project delivery, and supply chain teams, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful execution of major energy and infrastructure projects.
Your Responsibilities
Manage procurement of electrical equipment and materials in line with project requirements and schedules.
Coordinate supplier engagement, tendering, evaluation, and contract award activities.
Collaborate with engineering, project, and supply chain teams to deliver procurement outcomes.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and project risks.
Maintain procurement documentation and support quality and compliance requirements.
Your Skills & Experience
Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in procurement within engineering, construction, utilities, or energy projects.
Knowledge of electrical equipment procurement, including switchgear, transformers, cables, and associated plant.
Strong commercial, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems; SAP experience advantageous.
