About the role

We are currently seeking for a BIM/Digital Engineer to join our team in Perth, specially to support our New Mandurah Hospital Project. The Digital Engineer is responsible for leading the technical delivery and coordination of digital engineering (DE) and BIM processes on assigned projects. This role ensures that digital workflows, models, and data are implemented and maintained to meet project, client, and organisational requirements. The Digital Engineer acts as a technical bridge between DE Coordinators and the DE Manager, supporting innovation, quality, and efficiency across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of DE processes, workflows, and technologies on projects

  • Manage model coordination, federation, clash detection, and data quality

  • Support the DE Manager in strategic planning, reporting, and continuous improvement

  • Mentor and upskill DE and project teams in digital processes

  • Ensure compliance with DE Management Plans (DEMPs), BIM Execution Plans, and client requirements

  • Lead technical problem-solving and supporting innovation in digital delivery

  • Provide input and assistance into strategic direction

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in digital engineering

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working for a Main Contractor within the construction industry

  • Proficiency in DE software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, Revizto, point cloud scanning, data management tools)

  • Strong understanding of model-based delivery, coordination, and information management

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
