ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team in Perth Office, WA, on a 12 month Full Time contract, working approximately 38 hours per week, with some flexibility in hours required. This role is responsible for supporting Sonic HealthPlus in meeting its objectives and plans through the provision of a high level accounts payable service. This is achieved through processing and certifying accounts and debt management. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, this role is required to assist with ensuring correctness and compliance with accounting procedures and policies.

DUTIES

The core responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Creditor and Doctor liaison and enquiries
  • Maintaining and building relationships with our internal and external customers
  • Process employee and relative operational expense claims
  • Processing of accounts payable using Dynamics AX
  • Processing of Doctor Disbursements using Access
  • Managing and maintaining a computerised accounts payable system
  • General accounts administration duties

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a variety of tasks and customer demands and enjoy working as part of a team. You will have an eye for detail and a desire to provide the best quality service to our clients as well as our internal and external staff.

Attributes & experience required for the role:

  • Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with general supervision
  • High standard of customer service
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel
  • Accounts Payable experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred but not essential
