About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Superintendent to lead our maintenance operations and ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical equipment and assets.

Reporting to the General Manager - Incycle, the Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for delivering a safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance function while providing strong leadership, technical direction, and support to the maintenance team. This is a key leadership position that plays a vital role in achieving operational excellence and continuous improvement across the business.

This position is based in Perth, however, regular travel to project sites and our asset workshop in Kalgoorlie is required to support operational and project activities at management's discretion and in accordance with business requirements.

About You:

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification or relevant tertiary qualification, with extensive experience in underground mining mechanical maintenance and installations.
  • Proven leadership experience managing mechanical teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to schedule, coordinate, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Current licences and certifications, including Manual Driver's Licence, First Aid & CPR, Working at Heights, and ICAM qualifications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and maintaining compliance requirements, including National Police Clearance eligibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with operational requirements.
  • Manage the repair, maintenance, and reliability of site mechanical equipment, including breakdown investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Training, Environmental, and Quality requirements, conducting inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and assess maintenance personnel while fostering a high-performing and innovative team environment.
  • Oversee maintenance administration, including work progress reporting, asset and contractor requests, warranty claims, purchase orders, documentation, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with operators, supervisors, contractors, and stakeholders to support operational performance, effective communication, and continuous improvement across the site.
