About the role
As the Cleansing Services Officer you will be responsible forproviding self-managed cleansing services that ensures Parramatta's public domain is maintained and improved to enhance the cleanliness and appearance of the city, and to promote Parramatta as Australia's next great city!
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify illegal dumps, litter picking, pressure washing, amenities and BBQ cleaning within the public domain.
- Undertake a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services team to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the care of the team.
- Undertake inspections of the public domain and assets to ensure that Council's exposure to liability is minimised.

We are offering an attractive weekly remuneration from $1,311.74 plus 12% Superannuation plus Adverse Working Conditions Allowance as per the Local Government (State) Award 2026.

About you
- We are looking for someone who is reliable and a team player with previous experience working in an outdoor/ operational role:
- You are comfortable undertaking the physical requirements of the role and can easily adapt to changing priorities.
To be considered for this role, you must also meet the essential requirements in the Position Description, including the below Licences:
- Current NSW Driver Licence
- White Card
