A little about the role

The Research and Insights Specialist role sits within the Voice of Community and Research team, part of the Brand, Marketing and Experience department. It is an integral part of a dynamic, collaborative and fun team dedicated to delivering quality research and insights for the business, and ensuring that the research leads to action.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Manage and deliver key strategic research projects for the organisation, whether run internally or using external partners.
  • Manage and enhance Capricorn's Voice of Community research program.
  • Analyse the data and outputs of the research program to develop actionable insights and opportunities for internal stakeholders and business functions.
  • Work closely with the Experience Strategy and Service Design team to improve the end experience of our Members, Suppliers employees.


What you'll bring

We're looking for a market research or insights professional with 5+ years' experience in consumer insights, market research or Voice of Customer roles, whether in-house, agency-side, or a combination of both.

You have:

  • Technical research expertise, from survey craft, to designing and executing qualitative research, to analysis skills. (QPMR accreditation would be highly regarded, but not essential).
  • Experience using Qualtrics and Q.
  • Experience conducting primary research with customer/ member databases.
  • Proven ability to synthesise findings from multiple qualitative and quantitative research projects and/or data sources to create accurate and pragmatic recommendations for the organisation.

You:

  • Are great at finding the meaning behind the research and enjoy leading people to insights that will enable them to make better decisions.
  • Love to work collaboratively with people from different functions and organisations, and with diverse skillsets.
  • Are an excellent communicator, whether leading meetings and workshops, presenting to senior management, or in building day-to-day working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Can plan and prioritise work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals.
  • Are adept at understanding internal and external stakeholder requirements and needs and can proactively shape and influence their expectations.


Qualifications

  • A university degree in business, marketing, psychology, anthropology or other field of study that is relevant to understanding people.
