As part of a high performing, collaborative and innovative team, this role forms part of Business Development and Industry Partnerships within the Industry and Government Function and is aligned to the International and External Engagement Portfolio within the University.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing strategic relationships with industry and government stakeholders, achieving revenue targets
- Experience in providing strategic advice and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding business and product development
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, generate income, and provide leadership in business development within higher education or industry
- Experience in market development, opportunity assessment, and protection of intellectual property
- Experience in executing commercial project proposals, including negotiation, budget development, risk management, and contract compliance
- Experience within and strong understanding of the industry, professional, and government environments in Australia and internationally
