Workthat matters

This role will contribute to the delivery of an inclusive, culturally responsive placement experience for equity students at AU Health Clinics (Elizabeth). The role provides the dedicated expertise required to design and implement frameworks that support low SES, regional/remote, disability, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health students to succeed in clinical placements. This includes enhanced mentoring, educator capability building, and creating safe, supportive learning environments that align with the clinic's social determinants of health model of care.

Experience

Tojoin our community and thrive in this role,you will likely havethe following skills and experience:

  • Experience in providing clinical leadership and supervising university students on placement, with knowledge of clinical education processes
  • Experience in, and a commitment, to contemporary healthcare practice, including recent and relevant clinical practice
  • Experience in developing culturally safe and inclusive resources
  • Proven ability to demonstrate strong written communication, problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Excellent administrative, interpersonal, verbal, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Experience in project management, including coordinating activities to deliver project milestones, including the use of administrative information systems and Microsoft Office programs
