What you'll be doing
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide compassionate, safe, and effective nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You'll play a vital role in supporting patients through their treatment journey, ensuring clinical excellence, accurate documentation, and responsive communication.

In this role you will:

  • Recognise and report normal and abnormal patient observations

  • Undertake assessments, interventions and evaluate health outcomes within your scope

  • Support patients with daily living activities to maximise independence

  • Document clinical care accurately and in accordance with NSW Health standards

  • Escalate concerns, variations and adverse events to the Registered Nurse

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration: Current Enrolled Nurse Division 2 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria:

  1. Relevant and recent clinical experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD

  2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.

  3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal

  4. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership.

  5. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team

  6. Commitment to continuing professional development and demonstrated ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training
