Catering Assistant - Casual | Perth

• $27.09 per hour + 25% casual loading
• Monday to Friday, daytime shifts (some evenings)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Catering Assistant to join our busy kitchen team in Perth. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great food and service.

The Position:

• Assist with daily food preparation and service
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other fresh menu items
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
• Support kitchen operations in high-volume periods
• Manage stock and minimise waste

The Person:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Catering Assistant or in a similar role
• Experience in high-volume catering environments
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) - essential
• School experience - preferred but not required
• Good food preparation and presentation skills
• Intermediate knowledge of food safety and food handling
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
