We are seeking an experienced and driven BIM Manager to join our Brisbane Water team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering major water infrastructure projects and contribute to Stantec's leadership in Digital Engineering. About the role:

This role is responsible for the Digital management and coordination of engineering projects such as dams, pipelines, pump stations and various water and sewage systems including treatment plants. We have a significant pipeline of projects and have secured highly sought after, exciting and challenging projects. You will work with the larger team of knowledgeable, supportive and passionate professionals and carry out tasks including:

  • Management and coordination of project Digital Deliverables and BIM processes.
  • Federate and coordinate multidiscipline projects in the design, review and delivery of digital deliverables.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other project, company and client staff.
  • Engage in the development of design through sketches, digital models, diagrams, and other visual formats, and prepare and revise documentation outputs in various phases.
  • Manage deliverable quality in line with internal processes.
  • Assist with developing and managing project scope including cost estimates, budget, staffing and schedule.
  • Provide a central role in stakeholder liaising through federated model reviews
  • Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments serve as a liaison between senior staff and design team.
  • Support, mentor and upskill team members.

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • 5 years' experience delivering BIMfocused projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 19650 principles and application.
  • Leadership capability across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • A solutionsfocused approach with strong problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously under project manager direction.
  • Proficiency in BIM collaboration tools such as Navisworks, Revizto or similar.
  • Experience with Common Data Environments (Forma/ACC, ProjectWise).
  • Experience preparing Digital Execution Plans.
  • Revit, Civil 3D or Plant 3D experience (advantageous).
  • Water infrastructure design/drafting/modelling experience (advantageous).
  • A proactive mindset and passion for digital engineering innovation.
  • Full, unrestricted Australian work rights.
