Role Description:

This role is within defence

The successful candidate will, on behalf of the Project Managers and JDN Director and in collaboration with the IBS Lead Engineer, manage the general Systems engineering activities related to the acquisition of IBS with a specific focus on ensuring the integration activities required to install and/or interface IBS with external systems and platforms and to ensure V&V activities are appropriately planned and executed as required, including trials support

Requirements of the Role:

Tasks include, but may not be limited to; Participating in or leading engineering workshops to help team leads and project managers achieve outcomes including:

• Assist and or lead the integration effort of IBS equipment onto Platforms or interface with external system
• Determine and document Integration/Interface needs
• Define and determine the V&V activities associated with the FPS
• Generate V&V documentation
• Support and define any necessary trials
• Support the generation of ECPs Support the JDN Assurance process

Essential Requirements:

As the successful candidate you will possess the following (experience and skill levels to be adapted based on level of candidate):

Generate and interpret Systems integration and interface documentation Experience with managing and or performing within the Defence V&V process Systems Engineering in Defence context

Understanding of Cyber Security in the defence context

Understanding of Security Accreditation in the defence context

Understanding of FIC Assurance and Certification in the defence context Experience with defence acquisition projects would be beneficial
