Recruitment Advisor | Burswood | Competitive Salary

Recruit great people. Build strong relationships. Make the move from agency to internal recruitment.

Programmed Facility Management is looking for an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join our team in Burswood.

This is a high-volume recruitment role focused on sourcing and securing talent across our village services workforce, including Utilities, Housekeepers, Kitchen and Catering personnel and other operational positions supporting our FIFO sites.

You'll manage multiple vacancies at once, work closely with hiring managers and operational leaders, and take ownership of the recruitment process from job brief through to offer. It's a role that will suit someone who enjoys recruitment at pace, but is looking for the stability, flexibility and work-life balance of an internal recruitment environment.

If you're an agency recruiter looking to make the move in-house without giving up the variety and pace of recruitment, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

What's On Offer

  • Competitive salary package
  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Burswood office location with WFH flexibility
  • High-volume recruitment with a diverse portfolio of operational roles
  • High base salary
  • A less KPI-driven environment than traditional agency recruitment
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Opportunity to work closely with experienced recruitment and workforce planning professionals
  • Career development opportunities within a national organisation

The Opportunity

As a Recruitment Advisor, you'll manage a portfolio of operational recruitment requirements across multiple FIFO sites.

You'll work closely with hiring managers and operational stakeholders to understand their workforce requirements, provide recruitment advice and develop effective sourcing strategies to deliver the people they need.

This is a busy recruitment desk. You could be managing a significant number of vacancies simultaneously, so you'll need to be comfortable working at pace, prioritising competing requirements and keeping candidates and hiring managers moving through the process.

Your role will include:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of operational roles
  • Taking detailed job briefs and developing appropriate recruitment strategies
  • Sourcing candidates through job boards, databases, referrals and other channels
  • Conducting phone screens, interviews and candidate assessments
  • Building and maintaining talent pools for ongoing workforce requirements
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide recruitment advice
  • Advising stakeholders on candidate availability, market conditions and recruitment strategies
  • Managing shortlists and coordinating the interview and selection process
  • Providing hiring managers with quality candidate recommendations
  • Managing offers and ensuring a positive candidate experience through to acceptance
  • Maintaining regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns and broader workforce initiatives as required

About You

You're a confident and organised recruiter who enjoys the pace and variety of high-volume recruitment.

You know how to build relationships with candidates, but you're equally comfortable dealing with hiring managers and operational stakeholders. You can take a brief, challenge it when necessary, develop a recruitment strategy and deliver an outcome.

Most importantly, you take ownership. You don't need to be constantly monitored or told what to do, you understand your priorities, manage your desk and keep things moving.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous recruitment experience, with a couple of years' experience preferred
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously
  • Strong candidate management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence working directly with hiring managers and operational leaders
  • Experience conducting phone screens, interviews and candidate assessments
  • Strong sourcing and candidate attraction skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • The confidence to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

Your Background

We'd particularly like to hear from recruiters with experience in:

  • Hospitality recruitment
  • Blue-collar or labour hire recruitment
  • Mining, resources or FIFO recruitment
  • High-volume operational recruitment
  • Agency recruitment environments

If you've spent the last few years in a busy agency environment and are looking for the opportunity to move internal, we'd be particularly interested in speaking with you.

Requirements

  • Previous recruitment experience
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)

About the Team

You'll join a small, collaborative team consisting of experienced recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning professionals.

You'll work alongside two Recruiters, two Onboarding Coordinators and a Workforce Planner, reporting directly to the Resourcing Lead.

We value trust and autonomy. You'll be given the support and resources to do your job well, but you'll also be trusted to manage your workload, make decisions and take ownership of your recruitment portfolio.
