Medical Imaging Assistant

The role is available on a part-time or casual basis, reporting to the Chief Radiographer, with shifts available Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm, with the potential for Saturday shifts.

Role Overview:

As a Medical Imaging Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their imaging journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Radiographers with X-ray, CT, MRI and other imaging examinations, while providing high-quality patient care.
• Preparing patients for their examinations and ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Supporting Radiologists and technical staff with procedures and day-to-day clinic operations.
• Collaborating with clerical staff, Radiographers and Radiologists to deliver a seamless patient experience.

What we're looking for:

Current Radiography students looking to gain valuable clinical experience.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Previous healthcare or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
