Salary: From $36.81 an hour inc of 25% Casual Loading

You'll be the authority oncourt-ensuring games run smoothly, resolving issues calmly, and helping players enjoy their sport in a respectful, sportsmanlike atmosphere.

What You'll Be Doing
You will:
- Officiate sporting games and competitions
- Make fair, unbiased decisions and enforce rules
- Anticipate play and maintain strong court positioning
- Signal infractions, regulate play and apply penalties
- Ensure games are safe and conducted professionally
- Inspect courts, equipment and participant readiness
- Manage disputes and escalate issues when required
- Set up and pack down equipment before and after games
- Keep accurate time and manage game flow
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of sport rules and ByLaws
- Provide excellent customer service to all users
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone confident, fair and passionate about sport. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Level 1 umpiring or coaching accreditation (essential)
- Knowledge of relevant sport rules and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Commitment to fair play and customer service
- Experience umpiring netball, basketball, futsal or similar sports
- Experience working with diverse groups (essential)
- Experience in recreation or leisure facilities (desirable)
- National Police Clearance (essential)
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
