About the Role
Civeo Australia are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrician to join our Asset & Facilities Maintenance team at a remote accommodation village in South Australia.
Working on a family-friendly 8:6 roster, this role offers FIFO from Adelaide or Port Augusta and provides the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment while maintaining critical village infrastructure.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive, planned and preventative electrical maintenance across accommodation, camp facilities and associated infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems remain safe, compliant and operational while contributing to a positive experience for village residents.

Key Responsibilities
Perform reactive, planned and preventative electrical maintenance
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across village facilities and infrastructure
Conduct inspections and testing in accordance with Australian Standards and site requirements
Maintain electrical systems, switchboards, lighting, accommodation units and camp infrastructure
Complete maintenance activities in a safe, timely and professional manner
Ensure compliance with statutory, safety and environmental requirements
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders as required
Liaise with contractors and site stakeholders when necessary
Assist with general maintenance activities across the village as required
Contribute to a positive team culture and strong safety performance
About You
Current SA Electrical Workers Registration / A Grade Electrical Licence
Australian Trade Qualification as an Electrician
Current Manual Driver's Licence
Previous experience in mining villages, camp maintenance or remote-site environments highly regarded
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets desirable
Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
Ability to obtain or provide a National Police Clearance
