Looking for a stable, hands-on role close to home? ISS is seeking a reliable Maintenance Officer / Handyman to support daytoday operations at Blayney. If you enjoy practical work, solving problems, and being the person people rely on, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll help keep the site safe, functional and running smoothly through:

• General repairs & preventative maintenance across fixtures, fittings, building services and equipment

• Waste management and internal/external clean-ups

• Contractor engagement & supervision, ensuring compliance with SWMS, permits and site safety

• 2IC duties including toolbox talks, safety walks, stock takes, equipment audits and supporting the cleaning team

• Responding to client requests, logging work orders and maintaining accurate documentation

• Identifying faults, reporting issues and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and safety

What You Bring

• Experience in maintenance, grounds maintenance or handyman work

• Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise tasks and meet short deadlines

• Strong commitment to safe work practices, hazard identification, JSA/SWMS

• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

• Confidence in identifying maintenance needs and sourcing materials

• Current Class C Driver's Licence

• Bonus skills: Trade qualification, forklift licence, WHS certification, manual handling
