Role Purpose: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Regional Manager is accountable for the safe, efficient and effective field delivery of the allocated works program across multiple depots within a defined geographical region. This includes planned maintenance, customer connections and network-initiated works, reactive fault response, and emergency works. Leading a team of Field Delivery Managers and working collaboratively with Planning Team Leaders, Program Coordinators, Minor Customer Works, Customer Works Project Managers, Completions, HSE, HR Business Partners and corporate support teams, the Regional Manager provides operational leadership and strategic oversight to achieve program delivery, safety, commercial and customer performance targets. The role drives operational excellence through disciplined works delivery, effective resource and workforce planning, an adaptive response to changing priorities, strong people leadership and coaching, and a culture of continuous improvement. Key Attributes & Experience: Demonstrated experience within construction, utilities, maintenance, planning/scheduling and managing crews in a unionised operational environment. In-depth exerience in senior operational leadership roles. Demonstrated capability in leading and coordinating field delivery programs and operational teams. Experience in resource management, risk management and compliance. Experience operating in contract service environments is beneficial. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and digital work management systems. Demonstrated experience within construction, utilities, maintenance, planning/scheduling and managing crews in a unionised operational environment. Strong knowledge of HSEQ frameworks, safety legislation and risk management requirements. Sound understanding of business and financial performance drivers. Relevant trade, technical or project management qualification, or equivalent operational leadership experience. Strong understanding of Victorian electricity distribution networks and VESI rules.
