We are looking for a VP, Repairs Product Group, to join our Service Centers organization.
Metso operates a network of Service Centers that perform repairs and refurbishments on Metso and 3rd party equipment in mining, aggregate, and other industrial markets around the world. All our repair and service activities are designed to maximize the productivity, safety and reliability of our customers' equipment. Our Service Centers offer a full range of services to precisely inspect, repair, and return equipment to service. The Repairs Product Group head is accountable for the Repairs business globally at Metso. Core responsibilities include P&L management, strategy, investments, offering portfolio, customer experience, and service center operational excellence.
The location for this role is flexible. However, we would prefer it to be based in Finland, Sweden, Chile, Australia, or Brazil.
What you'll do
- Responsible for profitably growing the repairs business; global P&L management.
- Lead and develop a highly professional and motivated product group team.
- Responsible for Repairs strategy development and execution, in line with PSE's and Metso's segment strategy priorities.
- Responsible for the Service center footprint, capability development, capacity management, and related capital investments.
- Responsible for developing and managing the Repairs product portfolio in collaboration with product BL's and in line with MA feedback, installed base potential, & customer needs. This includes offering development, go-to-market strategy, pricing management, sales training, and sales support.
- Accountable for operational excellence across the global Service Center network, working in close collaboration with PSE operations and MA's to ensure Repairs operations are efficient and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Accountable for service center safety performance and promoting a proactive safety culture across the Service Center network.
- Accountable for Quality Management and quality outcomes for Repairs globally.
- Responsible for Repairs technical knowledge management (repair work instructions, repair drawings, best practices, IP management) and technical support for the Service Centers, working closely with the Product BL engineering teams.
What you'll bring
- Customer-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of customer needs and customer value creation
- Minimum of 7-10 years of related experience in a business leadership role, preferably in the Mining or Aggregates industries
- Strong commercial & financial acumen
- Experience with strategy development & execution, offering portfolio management and service (or related) operations
- Strong networking skills, proven ability to lead through influence and effectively work with multiple stakeholders globally
