The opportunity

We're looking for aMarketing Specialist to join our team for 12 months. You will play a key role in optimising Vans customer journeys, leading CRM strategy and Salesforce governance, supporting data-driven customer communications across the business. The ideal candidate will work within the broader Marketing team to support the strategic management and optimisation of Vans customer journeys.

Our team is based in Mulgrave, Melbourne, and thishybridrole has great variety and flexibility, allowing a mix of working from our newly refurbished offices and home.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic management, governance and optimisation of CRM and Salesforce for the Vans division

  • Own CRM operational initiatives, including business requirements, process optimisation, system enhancements and Salesforce usage across Retailers and Head Office

  • Manage customer data, audience briefing and CRM data integrity to support marketing campaigns and customer journey communications.

  • Oversee Salesforce Marketing Cloud customer journey communications, including agency coordination, audience selection, journey logic and performance optimisation.

  • Define and lead the Vans 1:1 customer communications strategy, establishing the contact framework, content priorities and communication cadence across always-on customer journeys and campaign-based activity to maximise engagement and customer experience.

  • Support the optimisation of the online customer journey through website testing, user experience enhancements, lead flow management and the accurate integration of customer data into CRM systems.

  • Partner with local, regional, Global, IT and agency stakeholders to deliver CRM initiatives, resolve issues and support ongoing CRM improvements.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Marketing or Business qualification

  • 3 years' experience working with customer data, CRM platforms and relational databases, including proven experience delivering and managing CRM projects in a corporate environment

  • Strong technical understanding of databases, data flows, CRM system functionality, data governance, integrity and customer privacy requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with agencies, regional teams and internal stakeholders.
