About the role
Mater Private Hospital Mackay has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the High Dependency Unit. This is a permanent part-time role, working 20 hours per week.
$42.10 - $56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doing
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with no restrictions
- Experience in working in an Acute Care setting
- Basic ECG and Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation skills
- Partner with patients and their support persons throughout the episode of care to provide patient-centred care with regard to personal and/or cultural needs and preferences.
- Currency of life support skills applicable to patient-centred care environment/specialty; i.e. basic, advanced and/or paediatric.
- A willingness to learn and grow within a clinically strong team.
Please note you must be willing to participate in a 24/7 rotating roster
