Apply Job no: TKXDE Category: Internal Work & Training is seeking a passionate and suitably qualified Trainer & Assessor - Early Childhood Education and Care to join our growing Registered Training Organisation (RTO 1126) based in Moonah. This rewarding role involves delivering high-quality training and assessment services to both existing workers and job seekers looking to build meaningful careers in the Early Childhood Education and care Sector. Qualifications Delivered The successful applicant will deliver and assess the following nationally recognised qualifications: CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care Hours: Full-time or Part-time (negotiable) Work & Training is one of Tasmania's largest private Registered Training Organisations, proudly serving the Tasmanian community for more than 35 years. With offices and specialist training facilities in Moonah, Launceston and Devonport, we support more than 500 Tasmanians each year through pre-employment programs, apprenticeships, traineeships, accredited training, short courses, and workforce development solutions for employers. Our vision is to create opportunities through education, training, and employment. Essential Requirements: Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116, TAE40122 or its successor), or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education and training (The successful incumbent is to hold qualifications that meet the training and assessment credentials as specified in Item 1A of the Credential Policy of the Standards for RTOs 2025). A sound knowledge of the requirements of the Standards for RTOs 2025. Extensive and current industry experience and relevant vocational competencies are essential. It is a requirement of the position to undertake an Australian Federal Police (AFP) National Police Check prior to appointment. A Current Employment Based Working with Vulnerable People licence also required. Current driver's licence. Key Selection Criteria: Experience in design and delivery of learning programs. High level of interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Well-developed skills in Microsoft office programs. Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as a member of a team. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
