We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchenhand to join our team at Nth Heritage Motel, Cairns. This casual opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with food preparation and general kitchen duties
Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food service areas
Support chefs during meal service periods
Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
Ensure work areas remain clean, organised and safe

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous kitchen, hospitality or food service experience preferred
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
Ability to work effectively within a team
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
