Our client, IOR is seeking a motivated Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter Apprentice to join the team. You will work on a diverse range of fixed and mobile plant equipment, ensuring their fleet stays safe and reliable. This position offers hands-on experience under the guidance of skilled mentors. You will play a vital role in keeping heavy vehicles running smoothly. What You Will Do: Perform maintenance: Carry out routine servicing, oil changes, and filter replacements. Inspect vehicles: Conduct regular checks to catch and fix issues before they cause breakdowns. Troubleshoot problems: Find and fix mechanical and electrical faults in heavy diesel systems. Ensure safety: Follow strict safety rules to protect yourself and your teammates. Work together: Collaborate with a supportive team to minimize vehicle downtime. What We Are Looking For: Current 3rd or 4th-year apprentice in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology Skills: Strong technical ability and a sharp eye for detail. Attitude: A reliable team player with a strong commitment to workshop safety. Drive: Someone eager to learn, take on feedback, and finish their trade qualification strong.
