Job Description
Why You'll Love This Role
You'll play a key role in delivering safe and efficient verge collection services. This hands-on role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to make a visible impact across the community.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operate skid steer during verge collections
- Load green waste safely and efficiently
- Complete daily machinery inspections
- Perform routine operator maintenance tasks
- Follow safe work procedures always
- Communicate using two-way radio systems
- Support team leaders in field operations
- Record completed collection areas daily
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
We're looking for an experienced operator with a strong commitment to safety and service. You'll ideally bring:
- Nationally accredited skid steer qualification
- HR Class Driver's Licence required
- Strong safety focus and awareness
- Experience operating skid steer equipment
- Effective communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- National Police Clearance required
