- Experience supporting, training, mentoring, or coaching other educators through professional learning, workshops, or similar initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the realities of teaching, including curriculum planning, assessment, student writing moderation, and whole-school change.
- Knowledge of literacy assessment and pedagogy is desirable; familiarity with mathematics teaching is also beneficial.
- Experience supporting schools through the implementation or adoption of new tools, systems, or educational approaches is advantageous.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish genuine connections with educators and school leaders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technology and teaching concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Strong listening skills and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to understand needs and turn feedback into meaningful action.
- Highly organised, reliable, and accountable, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple school relationships.
- Adaptable and comfortable tailoring support strategies to different school environments and requirements.
- Confident using school management systems, cloud-based platforms, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other digital tools.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and help educators build confidence using them.
- Comfortable working predominantly remotely while travelling for local and interstate school engagements when required.
