About the role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Ministerial Officer to be part of our Ministerial & Executive Services team, Office of the Commissioner. The Senior Ministerial Officer supports the Manager, Ministerial and Executive Services, in providing correspondence and briefings to the office of the Minister for Police. The position prepares, coordinates, and reviews correspondence, briefings, other documentation to ensure quality, relevance and timeliness and to meet the requirements of the NSW Police Force Executive, the Commissioner of Police, and the Minister for Police.

Target Question 2:

The position holder requires an ability to prepare ministerial and police correspondence, responses to Questions on Notice, House Folder Notes, briefings and other advice on matters relating to NSWPF to internal and external stakeholders using sensitivity and discretion as required.

Please provide an example of your Parliamentary experience in communicating advice in this context, both in writing and verbally.
