You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN) ofPEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing systems administration methods and procedures; and performance monitoring methods to schedule, monitor, and verify the integrity of system backups and restore files as necessary. 2) Experienced in Technology (IT) standards, policies and procedures in order to advise users, carry out projects and ensure compliance with IT and Information Assurance standards. 3) Providing Information Technology concepts, principles, methods and practices and a wide range of IT techniques, requirements, and procedures to analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations on projects.

This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code System Administrator), proficiency level 451 Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
