About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Legal Secretary to join our Tort & Compensation Team within the Office of the General Counsel.


In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to Unit Managers, Solicitors, and other members of the legal team. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient delivery of legal services and contributing to the successful management of complex and sensitive matters.


As the Legal Secretary, you will deliver comprehensive administrative support, including managing telephone and email enquiries, coordinating meetings, preparing correspondence, processing invoices, and maintaining effective filing and document management systems. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate, current, and confidential records within the Legal Services Database and RMS Records System, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and information management requirements.


The role also involves assisting with the preparation, processing, filing, and management of legal and court documents, requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
