How will you contribute to our success?
- Operate a 20-tonne excavator safely and efficiently.
- Undertake cargo handling and material movement activities as directed.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and identify equipment defects.
- Work safely within confined operating areas onboard the vessel.
- Comply with all safety, environmental and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate operational records as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.
- Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
The skills you will bring to our team
Essential: Demonstrated experience operating excavators (20-tonne or similar). Current excavator ticket/licence and relevant competencies. Strong commitment to workplace health and safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts.Desirable: Experience operating machinery in confined environments. Previous marine, port, mining or bulk cargo handling experience. Current driver licence. Additional machinery licences/tickets.
