We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to provide trusted advice, coaching and practical people solutions to leaders across the corporate and Residential Care portfolios.

You’ll build strong stakeholder relationships, support complex employee relations matters, contribute to HR projects and help leaders create positive, high-performing and values-aligned workplaces.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Partner with leaders and managers to provide expert HR advice, coaching and support across a broad range of people matters
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace culture, policy interpretation and change
  • Support the effective management and resolution of grievances, disputes, misconduct, absenteeism and exits
  • Conduct investigations and provide clear, practical recommendations
  • Analyse people metrics, identify trends and partner with leaders on targeted action plans
  • Contribute to operational leadership meetings and support people planning across your client groups
  • Lead or contribute to HR projects, process improvements and organisation-wide initiatives
  • Champion culture, retention, talent development and succession planning initiatives

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
  • Significant experience in a HR Business Partnering role, ideally within a large 24/7 operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, regulations and contemporary HR practice
  • Confidence managing complex employee relations, performance, grievance and workplace matters
  • Advanced consultation, coaching, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with leaders at all levels
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with people data and reporting
  • Resilience, adaptability, self-awareness and a genuine alignment with Catholic Healthcare’s Mission and values
  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel intrastate as required
